Launch of the GFCR Website
New York, 24-Nov-2020
The Global Fund for Coral Reefs (GFCR) launched its new website with detailed information on the Fund and its mission to protect, conserve and restore coral reefs. Initiated by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, the GFCR has grown into an innovative partnership of UN agencies, financial institutions and private foundations.
With this new web presence, the GFCR is proud to showcase its innovative blended finance structure to mobilize grants and invest private capital in reef-first businesses and financial instruments across selected coral reef sites globally.
The new website features easy to navigate information and resource pages with access to the results framework, Theory of Change, investment plan, impact outcomes achieved and global footprint. The website also provides easy access to other resources such as latest updates on the GFCR’s global operations, press releases and latest material on coral reefs.
In 2021 the GFCR website will serve as a platform to highlight programmes, impact and find access to funding opportunities. We look forward to your engagement as we pursue the global effort to save one of Earth’s most biologically valuable ecosystems.
