Aquaai

Aquaai is a technology company dedicated to providing environmental data to address 21st-century climate issues. It offers Faas (Fish-as-a-Service®), a bio-inspired fish-like autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) that transmits real-time environmental and visual data to an online dashboard.

The robotic platform and AUVs are 3D printed using selective laser sintering and can be deployed by a single person to monitor aquaculture fisheries and other underwater sectors.

They also help identify sources of polluted agricultural runoff, locate subsurface ocean plastic for removal before degradation, and inspect streams after flooding and storms. Aquaai's robotic fish operate autonomously 24/7, making data collection significantly more cost-effective than manned systems.

The company has earned top aquaculture innovation prizes, an EU seal of excellence for impact and quality, and recognition in the Hardware Cup Clean Tech semifinals.
