Clean Swell
Clean swell is a mobile app prepared by the Ocean Conservancy, a non-profit organization, for recording ocean trash, and simultaneously uploading it to its global ocean trash database.
Founded in 1972, with its headquarters in Washington DC, Ocean Conservancy spreads awareness and educates people, on how to make oceans a cleaner and healthier ecosystem.Its innovative app, Clean Swell, is designed to assist in the ocean cleaning mission.
The recordings made through the app add to its data, giving an insight into ocean trash to various researchers and policymakers.What one can do with the Clean Swell app: Record items of trash collected and track total distance cleaned.

With this app, one can join International Coastal Cleanup&trade volunteers working for a cleaner ocean, saving a great amount of trash from entering into beaches and waterways.
