Garbage & Solid WasteThis initiative supports existing Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and establishes new protected areas by replicating and scaling the MPA Green Fee model currently implemented in the Republic of Palau (ROP) to Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands The initiative will develop new financing mechanisms to enhance the Micronesia Challenge (MC) Sustainable Finance Plan, ensuring long-term financial support for coral reef conservation and marine ecosystem protection across the Pacific Islands.
