Ikanesia
processes fish & organic waste into feed, preventing localized nutrient loading and algae blooms near reefs
Ikanesia is an integrated animal feed manufacturer that collects organic waste—including discarded fish byproducts, agricultural waste, and pests—and processes it into high-quality feed for pets, aquaculture, and livestock. Its reef-positive logic is centered on waste diversion: by upcycling fish waste from local fishers and processing hubs, Ikanesia mitigates concentrated organic dumping in coastal waters. This prevents the localized nutrient loading, oxygen depletion, and harmful algal blooms that stress and suffocate nearby coral and seagrass ecosystems.
