Coral Reefs Restoration

Ocean Rescue Alliance (ORA) is a marine conservation and restoration non-profit dedicated to enhancing marine habitats and creating unique diving locations through artificial reefs made from innovative designs and safe materials. ORA uses a patented eco-friendly concrete mix that is pH-neutral and contains natural minerals like calcium carbonate and basalt fibers. This modifiable mixture supports natural marine life and enhances structure durability.

Flexible components require less material, improving stability, strength, and flexion for long-lasting artistic reef designs.

Reefs are stability-tested to withstand 50-year storm events.
ORA offers various reef modules, including:

ORA Purpose: Artificial reefs serve as a solution for urgent marine habitat challenges. To increase coastal resiliency Expand ecosystem services Create lasting habitat for bio-diverse marine organisms.

Ocean Rescue Alliance advocates that the local stressors and climate change are the main causes of habitat loss, which needs to be worked on, to increase restoration effectiveness.

They are the winners of 2021 Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
