This initiative aims to scale up sustainable aquaculture with incentives and technical assistance to farmers who implement environmental standards, with the ultimate aim to contribute to ecosystem health and support economic resilience in Indonesia. The programme completed a seaweed and tiger shrimp industry growth projection study and will create an investment roadmap to identify locations for sustainable aquaculture projects, pipeline development, and priority investment opportunities. Based on the study, support packages will be deployed to the shrimp and seaweed aquaculture business partners, including seaweed and carbon-neutral shrimp farming, through technical assistance, pipeline development, and prioritized investment opportunities.
