Founded in February 2017, Terra Conscious is a marine conservation based social enterprise, based out of North Goa, India. Driven by a team of passionate conservationists, they work to offer sustainable, zero-waste, low carbon footprint marine tourism experiences.
Terra Conscious is a conservation oriented social enterprise that works through a network of local eco conscious partners to promote ethical & sustainable wildlife & nature experiences and responsible tourism.
They are supporting conservation efforts by providing eco experiences that adhere to international guidelines for wildlife watching and build awareness about the focal species.
The company also works with local tour operators to build their capacity to practice responsible tourism and protect Goa's rich biodiversity.Terrace Conscious offers several "Responsible Experiences": The Ocean Biodiversity Experience - flagship program that they claim is Goa’s only ethical dolphin watching experience.
Backwater Kayaking trail - to explore Goa’s mangrove forests Backyard cycling trail - 4km ride through a private, protected forest Forest Walk - with birdwatching experience Terra Conscious also supports its travel experiences with complementary social impact programmes, that focus on creating awareness, building capacity for various stakeholders to enable them to address conservation challenges in this space and engage in grassroots conservation action.
