Abyss Vanuatu Ocean Institute (AVOI)

The Abyss Vanuatu Ocean Institute (AVOI) is a marine conservation and reef restoration initiative in Havannah Harbour, supporting the Vanuatu National Ocean Policy. In partnership with UTS, Reef Life Survey and Reef Ball Foundation, AVOI delivers scalable restoration and monitoring. Its Ocean Ranger Program trains local teams in turtle protection, thermal drone monitoring, reef restoration, and community engagement. AVOI is seeking foundational partners and funding to scale nationally aligned conservation, climate resilience, and community impact across Vanuatu.
