Impact of Warming on Abyssal Corals Studied

On August 31, scientists from the ChEReef* campaign, led by Ifremer, will bring cold-water corals taken to shore from a depth of 800 m off the coast of Brittany. Kept alive in pressurized aquariums, these little-known corals will be kept at Océanopolis (Brest) where they will be subjected to different temperature and acidity conditions.
