The mission of Ocean Assets Group is to connect and drive private finance for a sustainable blue economy.

The Group operates under four components:

1. Ocean Assets Institute: Non-profit research group established 2016 to provide research on blue economy finance. Clients include: European Commission, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNDP, UNEP.
2. Ocean Assets Sàrl: Consultancy established in 2017 to identify and develop bankable maritime projects for investors seeking financial and impact returns. ​
3. BlueDeals Platform: Matching lenders with impactful enterprises in the blue economy of the Global South. A mission-driven service with capital introductions & digital finance for sustainable SMEs.
4. SME BlueImpact Asia: Custom portal on BlueDeals platform, sponsored by Asian Development Bank, for blue economy SME deals in developing Asia-Pacific.
