CORALL Conservation Trust Fund
Conservation of Reefs for all Lives and Livelihoods (CORALL) Conservation Trust Fund [CCTF] is established to support the collaborative management (co-management) of three priority coral associated seascapes. Bar Reef, Kayankerni, and Pigeon Island, including core MPAs and satellite patches of climate refugia coral reefs, by strengthening law enforcement, conservation efforts, and environmentally responsible practices. They provide necessary financial resources to seascape-wide co-management committees, called Special Management Area Coordinating Committees (SMACCs) and more local Community Conservation Groups (CCGs) to to prevent illegal activities and protect coral ecosystems. The CCTFs will also support the implementation of the Management Effectiveness Tracking Tool (METT) and Green Listing for improved Marine Protected Area (MPA) management and engage coral-dependent communities in sustainable business ventures.
