Río Wildlife
Río Wildlife is a community-based ecotourism initiative founded in 2025 in Río Dulce National Park, Guatemala, that will offer guided wildlife observation tours, hiking, and sport fishing led by local community members. Part of the revenue will be directed to biological research, environmental education, and community development. The model aims to integrate conservation, sustainable tourism, and local participation, generating responsible income while protecting biodiversity and empowering communities.
Río Wildlife participated in the Bootcamp and in the third cohort of the Acceleration Program. The venture completed an incubation track that defined its foundational business model, customer profiles, operational workflows, break-even point, and pricing structure. They are actively working toward securing capital financing for an operational vessel to serve both tour operations and community needs.
